You then can accept what it gives or use the slider to adjust. Just bring up the “Horizon” tool and click it. I'd like to hear from someone who has VP3 and get their impressions.
DXO OPTICS PRO 6.0 UPGRADE
I can get ViewPoint 3 as an upgrade for $49. If the wide angle I'm shooting with needs some distortion correction, that's up one tab to the "Lens Correction" area and, again, one or two clicks and that's done. Again, in LR6 it's just one click in Transform (called something different in LR5) and it's done.

The image I provided above is an example of me trying to eyeball my verticals. I just cannot "get my verticals straight" eyeballing through the viewfinder and I've done the hip-height shooting for so long I always get the comp I'm looking for. Normally, since all I do is shoot architectural/downtown stuff for work, I keep a bubble level in my hotshoe and shoot from hip height. I probably mis-understood your original question as asking about horizon/perpendicular correction. Select the "slope" you want with each of those lines to end up being vertical (or near vertical) and "enter". The perspective correction tool when turned ON will add a vertical line on the left and right side of your picture with an anchor point and a drag point on each line. If you zoom into the picture I posted you'll see some of the boxes turned "ON" (blue) and some not activated at all. (tiny slider to the right) That activates it. To get the horizontal to work though, you need to click the little box just to the upper right within the "horizon" tool so that it turns blue.

As an amateur photographer, DeepPRIME will allow you to compensate for the drawbacks of small sensors in compact and bridge cameras that produce digital noise even at low ISO sensitivities. If you are an expert photographer, DxO DeepPRIME will open up a world of new possibilities by enabling you to shoot at very high sensitivities.
DXO OPTICS PRO 6.0 SOFTWARE
Transitions are smoother and more natural, and you gain nearly two ISO sensitivity values compared to our earlier version, DxO PRIME, the benchmark software for all comparable programs currently available. DxO DeepPRIME removes noise and renders photographic information without reducing color detail. But with DxO DeepPRIME we’ve combined them to achieve even better results. Try it out – the results speak for themselves.ĭemosaicing and denoising are usually two separate processes. The first artificial intelligence-based (AI) technology of its kind, DeepPRIME enables you to demosaic and denoise images simultaneously. But with DxO DeepPRIME we are breaking new ground. Reducing digital noise in RAW images is an ongoing challenge for most photo-editing software. Take control on every aspect of your photos: effectively remove noise, get rid of light constraints, recover color details, apply sophisticated optical corrections, and enhance details. DxO PhotoLab 4 ELITE Edition 4.3.2.61 Multilingual macOSĭxO PhotoLab (was DxO Optics Pro) provides a complete set of smart assisted corrections that you can manually fine-tune at any time.
